Three Nebraskans Win National FFA Risk Management Essay Contest

Production agriculture is a high risk undertaking.  Students who participate in the Risk Management Essay Contest develop an understanding of the principles of risk management and learn how to select the proper strategies to minimize risk and maximize returns.

Ten winning essays were selected by National FFA on the basis of content, adherence to the assigned topic, grammar, organization, originality and creativity.  Nebraska had three winning student essays.  Congratulations to all the winners, including Nebraska students Thomas Bader of Gresham, Brandon Essink of Syracuse and Mitchell Ross of Dunbar.
