New this year is the addition of the Nebraska Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (AFNR) Handbook. This handbook will be all encompassing in introducing students to the four pathways that are stressed by the Nebraska Department of Education and will come with supplemental curriculum for agricultural educators. Its intent is for agricultural educators to utilize such a handbook as a tool both in the classroom, during SAE visits and as a recruiting tool for their FFA chapter. These handbooks will be free to advisors, with the help of several sponsors, and will be available in late May.
This program also includes a placemat program for Nebraska's FFA chapters. Placemats will be available for FFA chapter spring banquets. Again, these are provided for free with the aid of sponsors, and are available upon request.
